Rat-a-Tat, the Rhythm Time rabbit is back in Hooky next Thursday (13th September). Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (plus parents/carers) are warmly invited to come and join in the fun at our lively and educational music sessions. Classes take place at the Sports Club, the Bourne, starting at 9.30 for toddlers, 10.10 babies and 10.50 for the new pre-school class (for 3-5 year olds). Anyone remember Les Levine?

I am sorry to say that my husband Les Levine is deceased as of December 2005 . He had a massive heart attack. If anyone remembers Les, we lived on Waterly Lane in the village for 3 years. It was our happiest assignment while Les was in the US Air Force.

Pre-school music - parents' views requested

Rhythm Time Music have recently started classes for babies and toddlers at the Sports Club on Thursday mornings. Teacher Caroline Watsham is now hoping to add a new class for 3-5 year olds and would like to know of any potential recruits. Pre-school classes introduce children to basic music theory in a fun and accessible way. For further information, please contact Caroline on 01295 750442.

Calling all babies

Is anyone having babies in Hook Norton these days? Rhythm Time are offering a free trial music session at the Sports & Social Club on Thursday mornings. Classes are designed to stimulate young brains and muscles, whilst providing a half hour of stress-relieving fun for parents/carers. Rhythm Time is coming to Hook Norton!

Calling all pre-schoolers (and parents/carers) - I am looking to start up music classes in the village soon. Rhythm Time classes are great fun - instruments to play, dancing, exercise and they can even help with speech development. Classes are tailored to three different age groups - with a mixture of familiar and new songs every week. Rat-a-Tat (the well-loved Rhythm Time bunny) is in charge - with a bit of help from his friend Caroline (who has been teaching classes in the area for nearly two years). Spectacular Comet

C/2006 P1, also known as Comet McNaught, is visible to the naked eye, during sunrise or sunset, in the western sky, just above the orange glow of the sunset. It is the brightest comet visible since 1975.
